- She loves all things birthday. She's always talking about what she wants for her birthday, how old she will be on her birthday, what other people might like on their birthdays, whose birthday is next, when the baby will have a birthday, what kinds of things would be fun at birthday parties, and so on.
- She loves to wear her princess dress, and she especially loves her princess shoes. She always laments when she has to take them off.
- She loves to pretend and does it often. She and Noah "play princess," when Noah dresses up like a knight and Jane dresses up like a princess. She also pretends to cook food, drive the car, and all kinds of other things.
- She loves to dance.
- She loves food. No surprise there. I think that perhaps the most potent punishment for her might be depriving her of dessert. Spanking? Alright. Skip the brownie? Nooooo!!!!
- The girl LOVES. TO. COLOR. She will pull our her crayons and color for a very long time. One day, she carried around a single sheet from a coloring book and would sit at various times and, with intense concentration, color for two or three minutes. Then, she'd hop up and play at something else, sit down and focus on coloring, hop up, and so on. Most of the time, she colors happily for a while as she sits at her little table.
Here she is, dirty from head to toe--and wearing princess shoes. She was having a grand time with that hose, let me tell you!
