Four Months Old!

Noah is doing some fun new things, the best of which is laughing! We heard his first laugh last night, and I caught the third and fourth little giggles in a video:

What else is new? Well, he is getting much more coordinated with his hands, so he is able to grab his toys with more consistency--and get them to his mouth. In fact, check out this picture. There's no better way to fall asleep than in the middle of playing with your toys!

The other funny thing that he has started doing is trying to sit up. Well, it's more that he just is tired of wherever he is and wants to either sit up or forward. Anyway, he pushes his elbows back in order to push his torso forward. It's really pretty smart of him to have figured this out, except that he only succeeds in getting his head and shoulders forward. Is this a normal developmental thing? Because I haven't read anything about it.

He's getting more and more active, too. Sometimes I think he'd be a lot happier if he could just sit up and crawl, because he gets bored sitting in one place for a while. He's keeping me busy!
