A Little Subtle Jab

Okay, tell me that Queen Elizabeth II does not look like George Washington in this picture:


I find this hilarious. I saw an article with this picture today, and it just really struck me how much she looks like George Washington.

Exhibit #1: The hair. Enough said.
Exhibit #2: The cloak, with brass buttons and all.
Exhibit #3: The very American-looking background. I don't know about you, but that sure doesn't look like England to me.

Annie Leibowitz took the picture, and Sarah F. and I think she did it on purpose (Leibowitz is American, right?). That would be too funny. We're rebelling to this day.
