Nothing

Well, forgive the lack of posts lately. There really has not been much going on, with the exception of this past weekend, which I will get to in a minute.

But sometimes those periods of nothingness have the most amusing and reportable nuggets in them, right? Like Nathan trying to tear a phone book in half. (By the way, I was flipping through the channels and saw a guy do that on some game show.) Nothing that interesting to report this time, though. I mean, come on. If something like tearing a phone book in half happens again, that's going straight up on the blog.

Anyway, so something fun did happen this past weekend. Mom and Dad came to visit! But I will have to write about that in a blog that is not entitled "Nothing." :)

We could tell that the yarn was becoming too much of a temptation for the cats and that they were starting to spread it around more than we wanted them to, so we started locking it up in our second bedroom. Well, apparently we didn't shut the door all the way today, and we came home to find the yarn strewn all over the apartment. Ugh, what a mess.

The next wedding we'll be celebrating in our family will be Matthew and Emily's! They got engaged a couple weeks ago. Here are some pictures of that event:

At the Airport

Nathan and Jonathan and I were all able to have lunch together at the airport and chat about the weekend. We shared some more fun memories and looked through all the pictures we took.

Jonathan, telling a fishing story. One time in Mississippi, he and Ken caught a couple of tiny fish that Granny agreed to cook. They were really excited until they watched her scale them and rip them apart and got grossed out. Then, when she cooked them, they didn't really want to eat them, which made her kind of mad. I'd have been mad, too, after all that work!
